I have been in the Beauty/Spa business for 27years and during that time I have interviewed, hired and worked with many massage therapists. I met CC several years ago when he gave a demonstration of his massage style for the Therapeutic Massage I course I teach at Monterey Peninsula College. I was fortunate to be the model for the demonstration, which introduced me to the CC Flow™ style of massage. In addition to the wonderful massage, I noted that CC interacted with my students in an engaging, relaxed and natural way, answering questions about his work with both clarity and humor.
I am very impressed with his ability to use not only a marvelously fluid style of massage, but also to zero in with pinpoint accuracy on a very small and painful portion of my gastrocnemius muscle that quite a number of other professional massage therapists were unable to address with any adequacy. In addition, CC is one of the only therapists I know who can effectively use deep transverse friction, a very specific massage technique used to address intramuscular adhesions, scar tissue, and hypermyotonia. In short, CC can do it all, and does it in a compassionate manner and with a quality of touch that is as rare as it is effective and pleasurable to receive.
CC is also an innovative therapist. His BodyWave™ Massage pillow is an excellent tool that, for me, made receiving a massage as comfortable as floating in my mother's womb.
